This week, Apple unveiled a number of new items, including a new iPhone and an affordable MacBook.
On Monday, the tech giant unveiled the M4 iPad Air and the new iPhone 17e.The M5 MacBook Air, new MacBook Pro models, new M5 Pro and M5 Max CPUs, and a new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR were all revealed by Apple on Tuesday.On Wednesday, Apple concluded its presentations with the MacBook Neo, a less expensive model that shares a chip with the iPad and iPhone.

iPhone 17e
The iPhone 17e, which retails for $599 and will go on sale on March 11, is the most recent model in Apple’s affordable iPhone series.
The A19 chip, which is present in the base iPhone 17, is included with the smartphone.With 256 GB of capacity, the base model has twice as much storage as the iPhone 16e’s entry-level model.

iPad Air M4
Apple unveiled the M4 chip-powered iPad Air, which is 2.3 times quicker than the M1 model and 30% faster than the M3 model. The price of the new gadget is still $599 for the 11-inch variant and $799 for the 13-inch size. Customers with education are eligible for a $50 discount.
Thanks to an upgraded neural engine and additional RAM, the iPad Air is built to be speedier, making it more suitable for AI applications.

MacBook Pro With M5 Pro And M5 Max
Apple revealed upgraded MacBook Pro models with the newest chipsets concurrently with the launching of the new M5 Pro and M5 Max CPUs. According to Apple, these new CPUs were created especially to improve the laptops’ ability to perform demanding AI tasks. Compared to their respective M4 predecessors, the new Pro laptops can do AI tasks up to four times faster.
The M5 Pro and M5 Max chips can process LLM prompts up to 4 times quicker than the M4 Pro and M4 Max, and they can generate AI images up to 8 times faster than the M1 Pro and M1 Max.
Starting at 1TB of storage for the MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and 2TB for the MacBook Pro with M5 Max, the MacBook Pro boasts up to 2x quicker read/write performance than the previous generation.The laptops’ batteries may last up to 24 hours, and users can charge them to 50% capacity in 30 minutes using a USB-C converter with 96 W or more. The laptops include a six-speaker sound system and enable Thunderbolt 5.
The M5 Pro-equipped 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models start at $2,199 and $2,699, respectively, while the M5 Max-equipped models, which come in black or silver, start at $3,599 and $3,899.
M5 MacBook Air
Apple’s new MacBook Air was created to be more adept at managing AI tasks, just like the new MacBook Pro models.

MacBook Neo
The MacBook Neo, Apple’s response to Google’s Chromebook, is an inexpensive, entrylevel notebook.The MacBook Neo, which starts at $599, is intended for customers and students whose jobs do not call for demanding processes like 3D rendering or video editing.
Silver, blush, citrus, and indigo are the four hues available for the 13inch laptop.The $699 variant has 512GB of storage plus Touch ID, while the base model has 256GB.
Instead of the more potent and expensive M5 chip found in the most recent MacBook Air, the laptop is powered by the A18 Pro chip, which drives the iPhone 16 Pro versions.
The MacBook Neo has two microphones, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and Spatial Audio-capable speakers on both sides. Using one of its two USB-C connectors, the battery may be charged for up to 16 hours.
With a 16-core neural engine and a five-core GPU, the MacBook Neo can do on-device AI tasks and gameplay at comparable levels to a new iPhone.
Studio Display And Studio Display XDR
A new $1,599 Studio Display and a $3,299 Studio Display XDR were introduced by Apple.Improved cameras and improved connectivity are included with the 27inch screens.Both have a 12 MP Center Stage camera, which Apple claims improves image quality, and support Desk View, a feature that displays your face and your desk from above at the same time.
Because the displays have Thunderbolt 5 connections, they may daisychain up to four displays and be connected to accessories (a Thunderbolt 5 Pro cable is included).
The Studio Display’s 5K Retina display has over 14 million pixels, 600 nits of brightness, and supports the P3 wide-gamut color standard that covers a broader range of the visible color spectrum than standards like sRGB.
The Studio Display XDR features a 5K Retina XDR display (5120 x 2880 resolution) that has a mini-LED backlight and more than 2,000 local dimming zones. It can go up to 1,000 nits of SDR brightness and 2000 nits of peak HDR brightness, and has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It also supports the Adobe RGB color standard.
With a mini-LED lighting and over 2,000 local dimming zones, the Studio Display XDR has a 5K Retina XDR display (5120 x 2880 resolution). It features a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits in SDR and 2000 nits in HDR. The Adobe RGB color standard is also supported.
M5 Pro And M5 Max Chips
Apple’s new Fusion Architecture, a sophisticated architecture with a potent CPU, scalable GPU, Media Engine, unified memory controller, Neural Engine, and Thunderbolt 5 capabilities, is the foundation for the new chips.
Both chips have an 18-core CPU, which is an improvement over the M4 Pro’s 14 cores and the M4 Max’s 16 cores.
Along with 12 brandnew performance cores, the CPU now has six “super cores,” as Apple refers to its highestperforming cores.For professional tasks, the CPU as a whole can increase performance by up to 30%.
With a bandwidth of 307GB/s, the M5 Pro can accommodate up to 64GB of unified memory, up from 48GB on the M4 Pro.Up to 128GB of unified memory and 614GB/s of bandwidth are still supported by the M5 Max.
New Accessories
Apple has released new spring hues for the Crossbody Strap, Apple Watch bands, and iPhone cases.Three additional colors have been added to Apple’s silicone cover for the regular iPhone 17: Electric Lavender, Vanilla, and Bright Guava.The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are also offered in Bright Guava and Vanilla.
The Sport Loop now comes in Bright Guava, Blue Mist, and Cantaloupe, while the Apple Watch Sport Band is now offered in Bright Guava, Clementine, and Soft Pink.
The Crossbody Strap is now offered in Soft Pink and Bright Guava.
